The region's leading conference on the Americans with Disabilities Act is scheduled to take place on September 13 & 14, at the BWI Airport Marriott.
Hosted by the Mid-Atlantic ADA Center as in previous years, the conference will cover topics requested from the public, with presentations from invited panelists from several federal agencies and experts from the field.
The conference begins with a morning panel with representatives from the U.S. Access Board, the U.S. department of Justice, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the Federal Transit Administration. After lunch and keynote address, the 2012 ADA Update continues (for the rest of the two days) with breakout sessions. There are a total of 20 concurrent sessions, with topical tracks on Accessibility Design, Employment, Title II ADA Coordinators, and other ADA general topics.
Registration costs $199 (by July 26) or $249 (after July 26) per person. Fees include conference participation and materials, breakfast and lunch for both days.
